Having said that with this post I am joining A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday, a most interesting blogging party.
One of my favorite joys is to have the time to enjoy my morning coffee on my patio. It is a relaxing and theraputic way to begin the day.
Here in N FL we are already experiencing temperatures in the 90's but in the early morning it is comfortable. I usually take out a couple of magazines to read with my coffee and always enjoy the antics of many varieties of birds.
I have always kept quite a few potted plants which only enhance the ambience. This particular geranium was a new "find". It is the most gorgeous raspberry color.
A nearby water element only enhances the experience, truly relaxing.
Beginning my day with coffee on the patio is a joy and I savor each moment when time permits. I just feel better about the day ahead. It is a wonderful way to begin the day.

Your patio is gorgeous. I can see why you enjoy your morning cup of coffee there.
ReplyDeleteIm glad you decided to bring your blog back up. Welcome back.
Im now your newest follower. Please come visit me at PICKINandPAINTIN.blogspot.com. THANKS. 8-)
Carolyn, I'm so happy to see you back my friend!! I love having your recipes here to reference, thank you. I think blogging is one of those things you can do when and if time allows, and if not- it will be waiting for you when you return! Thank you for your email.

Welcome back! What a lovely spot you have for morning coffee. It is a bit disheartening not to have "visits" from fellow bloggers but many do visit without commenting I think.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Welcome Back! I understand completely about getting too busy to devote much blog time and being discouraged by not many visits. I blog to because it's just plain thermostatic. I love your outdoor patio. It's so beautiful! I would spend quite a bit of time out there!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you decided to come back! Writing is therapy for me as well! Your patio looks so pretty and inviting. I like to sit on mine in the early morning and after dinner. It's so peaceful and yes, the birds are entertaining!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful week!
XO,
Jane
I was very pleased to see a post from you! I've looked for you quite often. Your coffee ritual is much like mine, although it is still too cool to sit outside....but soon.....
ReplyDeleteI understand the demands on one's time, and a full house, family and all the wonderful obligations of a full life sometimes leave blogging at the bottom of the list - and that's appropriate. It's nice, when the time is right, though, to be able to set one's thoughts and experiences down and to share them with like-minded people.
Lovely to see a post from you again!
Carolyn, so happy to see you back blogging again. I thoroughly enjoy your writings and recipes! Regina
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have the same feelings about blogging, just like you. It is time-consuming and with warmer weather finally arriving here in Wisconsin I don't want to be glued to my computer indoors so I think I will be blogging less and enjoying our brief summer more.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I'm glad to see a post from you :) What a beautiful place for your morning coffee!
So happy you have returned. I'm in your neighboring state and our weather and temps are already hot so early morning coffee is enjoyed outside before it is so hot. Blogging I think is therapy, an escape if you will. We should share out morning coffee.

You do have a splendid spot to enjoy the morning, all the elements I love, the birds, water feature, brick, flowers. I agree with all the other bloggers, that blogging is theraputic. I always create a book of all my posts every year of blogging to have to look back and reflect on my year and to leave to my children so they will know what mattered to me.

Hello Carolyn, I am so glad you're back! I love seeing your outdoor oasis to enjoy coffee first thing in the morning -I know exactly how it is - we've had very hot temps of late and I get what I can done early or late - but sharing coffee or tea in the morning with the garden and birds is sublime! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,

Hello again, I am so thrilled you're blogging again and wanted to let you know your post will be featured in tonight's Home and Garden Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a blessed day,
Kathy
Hi, Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see your blog has been revived! (I was sad to see it missing.)
Your patio is lovely and looks like a very tranquil place to start your mornings!
Patricia
What a charming garden! Your cherub water feature is darling....hope to see you link this garden post over at Fishtail Cottages Garden Party...? xoxo, tracie
gros bisous
I love your beautiful garden pictures. It looks like such a relaxing spot to spend time in. My own blogs are irregular and not highly visited. But when I do join in the fun, maybe link to a party, I enjoy so much feeling a part of all you wonderful folks out there sharing your homes and lives on blogland. I figure I do this for myself and when I can do it, I'm always encouraged, even if just one or two folks happen by my spot. Glad to see you back, I'm following you.
