About Me

My photo
Southerncook
I am a native Floridian and have lived in Florida my whole life. I love our mimimal changes in seasons with only a few months of cold weather here in North Florida. It allows me to do more with one of my passions which is gardening. This is a year round adventure in our climate. I love to cook, entertain, garden and travel. I really enjoy entertaining on a large scale but enjoy just as much smaller intimate ocassions. I am also a mother of three, all of whom are grown. My oldest son has twin boys who are eighteen years old, my other son has three little girls ages thirteen, eleven, and seven years old. My daughter who is my youngest was married just ten years ago and has a eight and a six year old. Our lives are filled with lots of family time and love. I hope to share my passions on my blog of cooking, gardening, and taking care of our home.
